Overview

Hippies & pilots is a Rock Band, period. High Energy, Hook layered, Groove based, and did we mention High energy. Guitarist & Vocalist Spike laughs, screams, cries, sweats, and laughs some more like Custard at his last stand or a madman one step away from starring in the remake of One Flew Over the Koo Koo Nest. Drummer Mark Elliott drives the band almost into a controlled frenzy with Bassist Mark Herndon holding the band together with solid doses of groovness. Original member guitarist John Tweeton back in the fold solidifies the sound with his tasteful leads and unique phrasings.

AC/DC, The Beatles, Cheap Trick, The Doors, Led Zepplin, The Clash, The Who, Frank Zappa, and any other band that you can rock to.
